Description
Three bottles of an inestimable value in this box, perfect for a Christmas gift. Indeed, it contains a battle of Magioa, one of Sciacchetrà and, a red Syrah & Cabernet.
Magioa is a white wine with slight grapefruit flavor, a balsamic touch of sage, and light traces of milk and fresh butter, ideal for dinner or as an aperitif. This wine derives its name from the dialect name of Buranco’s oldest vineyard, where its grapes are picked.
Sciacchetrà is a one-of-a-kind passito, typical of the Cinque Terre. Produced with selected grapes of Bosco, Albarola and Vermentino, dried on the racks (the same grapes which are also employed to produce dry white). A great match for aged cheeses such as Gorgonzola as well as simple, traditional treats.
A red wine from the Cinque Terre, a winning bet. The mixing of Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon grown in Monterosso produced a fairly interesting fruity wine.
