Description
Corochinato, also known as “the little donkey aperitif”, is a traditional Genoese flavored white wine. Produced using a 130-year old formula. 16 herbs and spicesare added to the mix, “starring” absinthe, gentian, holy thistle, thyme, oregano, and cinnamon. Natural ingredients dosed following the same formula since 1886.
Its name blends the name of the Genoese borough of Coronata (indeed, the first wine used was a white wine from Coronata) to that of cinchona, a crucial ingredient of this product (a renowned bark of arboreal plants which facilitates digestion).
A real delight which can be enjoyed as both an aperitif and a digestive, as a nice finish to a great meal.
